   Television Commerce (T-Commerce)

Internet TV television commerce (t-commerce) is the provision of order processing services directly through the Internet TV system. T-Commerce transactions can range from the sale of products provided directly by the Internet TV broadcaster (such as movie DVDs) to the processing of orders for other companies which provide a revenue share compensation for the sales.

T-Commerce is e-Commerce for television. It can include direct sales of products processed by the TV broadcaster, third party affiliate sales, or transaction processing services.

This figure shows how a vendor may receive a television commerce (t-commerce) order report. This example shows that a t-commerce vendor may receive payment from a customer directly by a cash or credit card transaction, the customer may be able to place the order on their television bill, or the customer may use a 3rd party such as PayPal to complete the transaction.
